Big White Wall Big White Wall is a a safe online community of people who are anxious, down or not coping who support and help each other by sharing what’s troubling them, guided by trained professionals. The service is available 24/7 and members remain anonymous. With the ever growing community and national and global expansions looming, Big White Wall needed to ensure that the user experience was not compromised for both the website and the mobile app. Big White Wall needed a lead User Experience Designer to work on improvements of current features, as well as scoping and prototyping new features ensuring the approach is sensitive for the demographic. As the lead User Experience Designer, Femma has undertaken the following activities: Leading scoping workshops for new features. Creating various paper prototype solutions and getting iterative feedback from the product manager, subject matter experts and the wider team. Conducting product evaluations and UX research for new proposed ideas. Creating low and high fidelity wireframes using Axure RP Pro. User Research via Alpha Beta Testing in Optimizely.   Avis Mobile App   Femma joined the Avis Budget Group during second phase of the project as the lead User Experience designer for the Avis app. The key tasks were: Producing low and high fidelity Axure RP pro wireframes. Presenting wireframes to stakeholders for iterative weekly feedback. Researching optimal solutions for fast form filling on the app. Liaising with the third party vendor for the fast form filling product to conduct integration feasibility. Working closely with the Usability testing team in order to conduct user research.   Nokia News App The Nokia News App was an R&D based conceptual personalised news app. The deliverable was an alpha version of the app. Femma lead the research, design and implementation of the client side application. The key tasks were: Storyboarding the use cases. Iterative weekly feedback with stakeholders. Lo-Fidelity prototyping using paper. Hi-Fidelity prototyping using Omnigraffle. Encompassing Metro paradigm. Participatory Design. Implementation of the app using Expression Blend and Visual Studio.  A beta version of the app was delivered to Nokia’s internal community via a programme called “backstage” for further user feedback. Apprenticeship Vacancy Matching System At the time the Learning Skills Council were investing a lot of funding into the Apprenticeship Vacancy Matching System and required a complete implementation of an online system that would allow potential apprentices to find and apply for vacancies. Femma was tasked with: Liaising with the Business Analysts and Project Manager to scope the use cases. Producing an interactive prototype of the use cases to be presented to the board using Axure RP Pro. Producing a story board for the Project Manager to present to the board.
